Hi group, I was wondering if anyone has ever done this before, I've got a working ownerdrawn menu the only thing I can't get to work is to ownerdraw the items the get automaticaly created in a mdilist. I thought if I'd handle the click event of the menuItem with the mdilist property and then iterate true it's collection of MenuItems and dynamicaly add the handlers used for my drawitem and measueritem it "could" work but it doesn't...

I have many childs forms in a parent form. And I use mdiList in menu/windows When I minimize all these childs with a menu command I want that the selected child in the mdiLIst should open but it isn't. The child remains minimized and has just a focus. I can open the childwindow on other ways but I want to do this with the MDIList Can I do that? Thanks for any response

I have a MDI form with a MdiList in a MenuItem And also 3 different child types, one child is like a background with a picturebox in it. So this must be always as background and never hide the others childs. But when I click in the MdiList on the "backgroundchild" the "backgroundchild hides the others child. Can I remove this child from the MdiList or is there a way that this child don't hide the others when clicking on it in the...

The How to page: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/7aw8zc76(VS.80).aspx walks through the creation of MDI child forms. It includes instructions to set the property MdiList to maintain a list of open MDI child windows. However, I can't find the MdiList property in the properties panel.

Hi, I'm experimenting sample code created in Visual Studio 2002 (or 2003) in my Visual Studio 2005. However, I can't find the following in VS 2005: - MainMenu control in Toolbox; - MergeOrder property for a menu; - MdiList property for a menu.

Hi I want to control the navigation between 7-8 childforms in my MDIparent form project with buttons instead of the build-in MdiList. I am able to show a Childform with this code: myMDIparenForm.mnuWindows.Menuitems("Mychildform1").performClick() But it only works, if I once manually click on the mainmenu mdilist. It seems this click initiate the list. My question: is it possible to initiate the MdiList programmatically?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
