Hello,
I'am experiencing that Asp.net can not handle sorting of datagrid when the
number of items exceed a few thousands.
Is anyone aware of this problem?
The sorting works fine when the number of item in the datagrid gets lower.
I do not know the number limit between *Works* and "don't works* but i least
we have to exceed a few thousands of item to
experience this.

Hi All
I have one specific question for DataGrid
In the Form Load event of the Form, I am binding data with DataGrid.
On clicking Row the CurrentRowIndex is updated and it gives me correct
rowindex.
But if, I click on Column the data gets sorted in ascending or

I thought the only thing I had to do to disable column sorting in
VB.NET was to set datagrid.AllowSorting = False. Unfortunately this
has never worked for me. I discovered another set of code that seems
to work for 99% of the cases where I need to disable datagrid column
sorting:
Private Sub datagrid_MouseDown(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As
System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventArgs) Handles datagrid.MouseDown
Dim pt As New Point(e.X,...

Hi,
I've a dataGrid, and When I click with the mouse on one of it's header the
DataGrid_Click event is called. I don't have problem with the event, but
strange things happen to the dataGrid after I click on one of the headers. I
have DataSet that bounded to this DataGrid so i could write into the
dataGrid, but when i click on the headers new rows are suddenly added,
sometime as a first row, sometimes between two exsisting rows. I change...

I have a DataGrid which I am adding to the page dynamically at the Init stage
of the page load. The DataGrid has AutoGenerateColumns turned off, has
BoundColumns and is bound to a DataView for its’ data source. I have also
added a TemplateColumn which is defined in a derived class and contains an
ImageButton. The derived TemplateColumn class contains an event handler for
DataBinding and in this handler I assign the ImageButton ID. The...

Hi all,
i have a problem with the datagridview sorting, the problem is a bit complicated so i hope i can describe in the following steps:
1. i have a datagridview with two columns (LoginName,UserName)
2. the datagridview sorting is set to automatic, so when i click on the column header is sorts well.
3. i put in an event handler for the CellEndEdit Event, so whenever the user of the program changes the content of a cell in the LoginName...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
