Hi, I create application which transform huge XML files (~ 150 Mb) to CVS files. And I am facing strange problem. First 1000 rows parsed in 1 sec after 20000 rows speed down to 100 rows per sec, after 70000 rows speed down to 20 rows per sec ( I should parse ~ 2 500 000 rows). For me it looks like a GC problem, but I have no Idea how to fix it :( Any ideas are welcome.

hi, I would like to profile an application using some tool in such a way that i dont want to add any probe code in the application. And I am also interested in knowing the lines of codes that are hit/run most of the times and also the lines of code which took most time in execution. ( as it is said that 20% of your code takes 80% of the execution time ) What are the good tools/techniques for profiling in .NET ( which dont

I've got Visual C++ 2003. I'm looking for a profiling tool. I'm from the Unix world where a good profiler comes free and built into the compiler and linker. I tried the Help utility in Visual C++ and got 500 hits for "profile" .. but none of them indicated that a profiler is built-into Visual C++. Question: Is there a profiler built into Visual C++ 2003? If not, can any one recommend a free profiler?

Hello, In the VS.NET documentation http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp? url=/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cpconenablingprofiling.asp it says that in order to profile an application you have to have its CLSID. I am new to profiling and looking to profile my ASP.NET application, but don't know how to

Hello, I am searching for a good profiling tool for C# which can be easily embedded into Visual Studio. My objective is to measure the times and counts of every method in my program. If used the Coverage Tool of TestDriven.Net (http://www.testdriven.net/) which worked fine if I have defined any Unit test-cases.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
