Hi.
How does one display a confirmation message of either 'Record Updated' or
'Recorded Added"?
I've tried the form afterupdate and afterinsert but the afterupdate occurs
on an insert too?
So I tried to test for a new record in afterupdate using .newrecord but that
does not work.
Here is my code Any idea. Thanks in advance...

Hi all,
I have a CheckedListBox on one pane of a TabControl on a form. I find that
whenever the user clicks a different tab then comes back, any checks that
were in the list have disappeared.
After a bit of experimenting I have discovered that the problem only occurs
when the CheckedListBox is using a dataset table as the source. If I...

I am trying to use IndexChanged of DropDownList to control the next
part of my site.
The problem I have is that the 'indexchanged' is not getting called if
I select the first entry on first displaying of DDL.
Similarly if I re-select the previous selection with the mouse, it
still does not recognise, it as having changed.
I tried...

Hello, Can someone help me in this problem.
In my content page, I used 2 user controls inside an Ajax Toolkit TabControl. One of the user controls is a data entry with a dropdownlist. The dropdownlist does not retain its selected value when I make a postback (click an update or save button). But when I run it without Tabcontrol, it's ok. Is...

Anyway, I have a form with a (continuous) subform, and on the subform I have a command button, called cmdDelete, that launches a dialog form, called frmDeleteCurrentRecord, where the user has to enter their name and a...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
