Hi there, im brand new to ASP. Ive done loads of VB coding and one of my
clients is intrested in a web based application, so im trying to play on and
learn it a tad. However im comming across lots of problems. Up until now ive
managed to sort most of them, but now im strugling. When i run my application

I am getting this error when I tried to browse any asp.net in visual
studio.net. I can build the project but when I try to run and debug the
project I get error message that "Unable to start debugging on the web
server. server side error occurred on sending debug HTTP Request.
I am running WinXP Pro SP1 with all hotfixes and VS.NET 2002 and .NET
Framework 1.0

I have four (4) ASP.NET Web applications/Web sites on a IIS/6 - Windows
Server 2003 production server. 3 of them work fine. I just installed the 4th
one and it's Application_Start event is not firing.
I have double-checked everything (and rechecked) and I haven't found
anything that would explain why the Application is not starting.

I have a timer on a form. It isn't firing at all. I know that the timer is
enabled, and that the interval is low (4000, which should be 4 seconds). To
ensure the timer wasn't being inadvertantly reset I put some extra code in
the subs that enable and disable the timer. They fire as expected.
To test this I added a second timer with a 1 second interval. The event for
this time would output the enabled status of the first timer and its...

I created a service in VS 2003 and the code works fine as an application,
but not as a service.
It installs fine, but when I try to start it, it tells me it was unable to
start.
