I have installed the new Visual Studio 2003 and implemented the
FolderBrowserDialog.
Everything works fine, if I open the FolderBrowserDialog before
opening a Database Connection.
If I open the FolderBrowserDialog after I opened the database
connection no folders will be displayed in the FolderBrowserDialog.
It's empty.

Hello,
Does anyone know if there is any way to add a condition
to your setup project so that the user can choose if they
want a desktop shortcut or a program menu by selecting a
checkbox. I know that you can use conditions on files,
but I can't get it to work with shortcuts. I tried to
apply the condition to the folders instead of the
shortcuts themselves, but the setup program doesn't seem
to care. It just ignores if the checkboxes...

I've noticed that my program executable remains in the process list if at
any stage my program has shown a FolderBrowserDialog. I am calling .Dipose
on the dialog after use. This does not happen when I go through the code
paths that do not create and display this dialog. Is the folder browser
hanging onto something that is holding the rest of my program active on the
task list?
Any help would be appreciated :)

I have created an app that makes use of the FolderBrowserDialog.
Upon building the app, installing and running it, and invoking the form
using the dialog, it hangs upon folder selection and goes "not responding"
Upon debugging, it hangs as well upon executing the line that extracts the
selected folder without further explanation. All looks well in the debugger

Using VS.NET 2003 with all the 1.1 framework updates. I've been
subjected to this bug in 2 separate projects, and in both cases, I've
found no way back other than starting from scratch again (which I
haven't done yet).
What happens is that the TreeView with the folders in every
FolderBrowserDialog disappears. It happens totally spontaneous, from one
build to the other. When it has happened, it appears to be no way back.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
