Hi All,
I use Bulk insert to put data to myTable.
When the SQL server is in local machin, it works well. But when I put
the data in a sql server situated not locally, then I get a error
message like this:
Could not bulk insert because file 'C:\Data\2003
txtfiles\abif_20031130.txt' could not be opened. Operating system
error code 3(The system cannot find the path specified.).

Hi Gurus,
Please forgive me if my question is dumb cause this is my first web
application I've done.
Currently in my web application there is a button to click which will fire
off a DTS event to import data into my SQL server. During the importing
process, there're also several calculation made to amend/modify the import
data accordingly.

Strange new error and I'm hoping that many others have it :-) so that
the solution is easy.
Until recently I could click on a DBase IV file of type DBF in
explorer and Access would open and the .DBF file would appear as a
table. I could then look at the data contained in the file and its
field names.
This no longer happens.
When I click on the .DBF filename in explorer Access opens. But the

Hi,
I am having trouble importing a spreadsheet from Excel into an Access
Database.
I have noticed that even specifying the Cell Type of the Excel Data
Cell, When I import it, still get Import Errors. Like Type Mismatch.
The funny thing is that its all done automatically via the Wizard, so I
dont even specify what the field type should be in my database, but it

Using ASP.net 1.1 and Microsoft Access.
I received the following error message. Why? I have closed the Access
file. I have another very small access file that opens with no trouble with
the same code, except a different name for the file.
The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file
'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Accident.mdb'. It is already opened exclusively by
another user, or you need permission to view its data.

When I try to read in a csv file it gives me this error message.
'Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.' If I change the
extension to txt it processes just fine. I have googled all sites on
this and I haven't found anything to help. (tried registry stuff,
reinstall .NET 2.0, patches). This just broke out the blue too which
is weird because it was running fine on our server on monday but now
it pukes. Here is the code.
