XSLT encoding ??

Hi,

I raised as message earlier in this forum with regards to an error when
preforming a XSLT transform (see bottom of this message).

On further investigation I'm find that some of the XSLT file have an
namespace for encoding i.e.
<xsl:styleshe et xmlns:xsl='http ://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform'
xmlns:e="http://xxx.co.uk/xxx" xmlns:msxsl='ur n:schemas-microsoft-com:xslt'
xmlns:var='urn: var' xmlns:userJScri pt='urn:userJSc ript'
exclude-result-prefixes='msxsl var userJScript DateHelper e'
xmlns:DateHelpe r="urn:extn-obj" version='1.0'>

and the elements are being referenced as such e.g.
<xsl:if test='e:street' ><Address1><xsl :value-of
select='e:stree t/text()'/></Address1></xsl:if>

Could this somehow have an affect on the below message

Whilst performing a simple XLST transform, I am receiving a
CryptographicEx ception. No encryption is being used by the program itself.
At present I have found no pattern into reproducing the error, seemingly
random but often.

The stack trace is as follows;

incorrect.

Could anyone point out any possible areas where I could investigate, i.e.
Would SSL have an affect, would the XSLT encoding uft-8 instead of uft-16 be
an issue

I am just getting to grips with XML and I was wondering if you could help me with something that no-one seems able or willing to help with.. I have an XSLT file which should be transforming a straight XML file http://www.discovertravelandtours.com/test/templates/test.xml?Location=Germany To another XML file http://www.discovertravelandtours.com/test/templates/test2.xml?Location=Germany

Hello, I have sort of a big problem. I would really appreciate any help you could give me. I made a web service in C++ that throws XML to the client (browser). But, the XSLT transormation (xml->html) doen't happen! I have XSLT files for this, they work, I mean when I put the output of the app as an XML file on some server, and make it use the XSLT files to transform into HTML, it works, I get a HTML page.

I have some XML documents that I want to open in a web browser and be automatically translated to HTML via XSLT. I'm using an xml-stylesheet processing command in a file called "girml.xml". This all works in Internet Explorer, but doesn't work with Firefox. In both IE and Firefox this works: <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" encoding="UTF-8" href="makehtml.xslt" version="1.0"?>

Hi, I've a simple issue with the use of extension objects. I'm trying to call a text formating method from an object that I add to my arguments collection, this method take an input string and output the formatted string. So far everything process correctly (the method is called without any issue) but my problem is that the output is htmlencoded, it means that my method (wich work as intended in other contexts) is called but the...

In .Net 1.1, System.Xml.Xsl.XslTransform cannot output directly a document in an encoding that cannot represent all the characters used (e.g. write in us-ascii for compatibility, and convert all non-ascii chars to entities). While it can be worked around (by defining a TextWriter that does the conversion to entities), it's not very elegant (because the information on encodings must be duplicated outside the XSLT file) and breaks...

The code below worked in VS 2003 & dotnet framework 1.1 but now in VS 2005 the pmID is evaluated to "" instead of what the value is set to: .... xmlItems.Document = pmXML // Add the pmID parameter to the XSLT stylesheet XsltArgumentList xsltArgList = new XsltArgumentList(); xsltArgList.AddParam("pmID", "", pmID); xmlItems.TransformArgumentList = xsltArgList;

Greetings, I am relatively new to, what I would call, advanced XSLT/XPath and I am after some advice from those in the know. I am attempting to figure out a mechanism within XSLT to compare the difference between two source documents and output node-sets which are "different" (changed or new) to new XML files using xsl:result-document To describe the problem I have provided some example data below along with my a portion of my current...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
