Hi,all:
our web application using vb.net and xp. we have a web form using a
datagrid, when load that page, it will list all our cutomer info. to the
datagrid. The first column of the datagrid is "delete button" which bind with
CustomerID, when we click delete button the record will be delete properly.
But I found that if we us IE refresh icon to refresh the page, we got IE pop
up message: "The page cannot be refreshed without resending the infomation.
Click Retry to send the information again, or click Cancel to return to the
page that you were trying to view." if I click Retry button, the page will be
reload, but at the same time the record next to the one which we deleted will
be deleted as well, Why this happened and how to fix it?
Thanks. 0 1347 This thread has been closed and replies have been disabled. Please start a new discussion. Similar topics |

I am having a strange problem. The program is a bit complex, but I'll try to
simplify what I can. I apologize if this is complicated, but I think this
would still be simpler than posting a bunch of source code. If you want me
to post code, though, just say so.
In a nutshell, I've got an ASP.NET application that has one main ASPX page.
On that ASPX page, it has a user control (an ASCX) that displays the actual
data and controls I need.

I have a datagrid on a form that's bound to a datareader. When I click
on my browser's refresh button, it adds a duplicate record to the bottom
of the datagrid. This record appears in the underlying sql table. Why
would it do this? How do you stop it. I just want the datagrid to
display existing records, not modify the database.
Private Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As
System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load...

I have a simple question but have no clue how to do this:
I have a datagrid in a web form which presents each user's info, after admin
selected a user, then click 'delete' button, that user will removed from backend
database. Now, how can I have screen refresh to display updated data?
Thanks in advance.

Is there any way to display an image button instead of the traditional
Edit/Update/Cancel push button in a datagrid (with bound data)?

Hi All,
I've built a simple page that populates a datagrid from an access
database. On the page is a form, with a button. When the button is
pressed, the contents of the form are added to the database and the new
data is displayed. Great - Works fine!
BUT...If the user then refreshes the page, the data is AGAIN added to
the data, which appears in the DG following the refresh. Hit refresh
again, and the same happens...over and over.

I'm reposting this. I'm kinda in a bind untill i get this figured out, so if
anyone has some input it would sure help me out.
Ok, I’ve noticed a few gridview problems floating around the forum. Everyone
wants to do a java confirmation box when a user clicks the delete button.
Fair enough, basic user design rules state that you should always confirm a
delete action. There is also a consensus that the best way to do this is a
template...

My application is written in .NET (C#) with the inline Edit mode from
DataGrid. When a SAVE button is pressed it will perform a action on the
database either to add, edit or delete data that a user has entered.
When the refresh button is pressed at the top of the page the same
exact data is re-submitted again resulting duplicate transaction in the
database. Is there anyway of stopping this happening? From client-side
script, how can we...

I have an admin application that allows the user to enter information and click a Save button. In the click event of the save button I call an insert stored proc. If the insert proc is successful I then display a javascript pop up telling the user that the record has been added successfully. I then show a datagrid to the user with the record that they just added. My problem is that if I click refresh after successfully adding a record another...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
