Does anyone know where to find or how to write a quick user defined fucntion
that will return a table object when passed the string name of the table
object. The reason why I want dynamicallly set the table name in a stored
procudue WITHOUT using concatination and exec a SQL String.

I have two variables: "char A" and "short B". I can be able to convert
from A to B using explicit case conversion with no problem like "B = short
(A);". Right now, I have two variables: "char T" and "short A". T has
an array of six elements. I desire to capture first element and second
element as two bytes into word as short.

user-defined VBA functions. These typically work as expected, but
occasionally, on one user's machine or another, produce a "function not
defined" message when the SELECT statement is executed, even having
previously worked on that machine.

Example line:
string temp = Convert.ToString(null);
Convert.ToString() says it will return empty string if null is passed as
parm. This returns a null. Is this oversight in the Convert method?
What is the way you guys are checking for nulls on string parms and triming
if they pass something other then null. I was thinking this would do in
most cases, but does not because of "error above"

an text field to upper case using C. The configuration id utf8
environment in which user can enter any character (single , double,
triple byte etc). I need to convert to upper case only those characters
which has got upper case. ie if an user enter bot english and japanese
