I've created a Windows Service in C# and an installer project for it.
I installed the service using the packaged installer project and the service
was installed correctly and it runs fine.
I've since made some changes to this service.
I then proceded to uninstall it (Add/Remove Programs) to install the new one.
However, the service still shows under Services, but the .exe is gone.
I can't install the new version of the service,...

EventLogs on Stop and Pause. I installed it using the InstallUtil.exe
program, the output of which is below. It appears to be successful. I'm
now ready to start my service (I think) but the NET START command does not

The service runs under the system accounts. When started, it launches a
GUI.
By default, the InteractiveProcess property of the service is not set
(this can be checked by right-clicking on the service in the Services

Installer)
2. My Windows Service is upgraded to .NET 2.0 with deployment project using

Hi,
I have created an msi package that installas some .Net dlls. It was
working fine until my windows profile got corrupt and I had to create
a new one after renaming the old. the old profile still exists with a
different name.
Now, when I try to run this msi, it says "The specified service
already exists." and rolls back. There are no entries in the registry
for this msi.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
