Hi,
I am using PHP 4.2.3 and Sybase 12.0
I want to insert records in multiple tables in a database.
I also want to use transactions so that I can rollback in case there
was a problem.
I tried the following code, but I can not figure out how to retrieve
the "status" from the batch.

Hi all,
I am using VC++ DOT NET. The database is Sybase. I
have established connectivity through ODBC 12.5 Sybase ASE
Driver( its not through DSN).
There is problem while reteriving values of
datatype 'int' or 'small int'. I think its the
compatibility issue. Is there any other ODBC driver
available which microsoft supports.

Iam trying to connect Sybase through Sybase ASE.NET providers.It is giving
error while making the connection like this
"System.dllnotfoundexception.....Unable to load dll..."
Even though I have taken the Sybase.Data.Aseclient dll reference.
I have few doubts before this
1. Is it mandatory to have .net framework 1.1 to work with ASE.NET provider
2. Is it faster comapre to using OLEDB providers for Sybase with Sybase
ASE.NEt providers?

I am facing one problem while implementing the connectivity with the sybase server. When I am trying to open the AseConnection object the error popped up is "Client unable to establish a connection". I tried to ping the Data source x.x.x.x and found that it is active.
Am I missing something ?
Please help.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
