In the course of investigating differences between C# projects
generated in VS2003 vs VS2005 (see my post about reformatting code),
I've found big differences in the .csproj file.
I haven't gone through the files to correlate with compile settings,
but at first glance it looks like there is much more info in the
..csproj file than in project->properties menus.

Microsoft.Build.Conversion.dll . But with the .NET SDK v2.0.40607 I don't

I need to create a large number of VS 2005 .csproj files from an equal number
of VS 2003 .csproj files so that I can use msbuild with MSBee to build .NET
1.1 software.
My question, is there a command line utility that can be scripted that would
take as input a vs 2003 .csproj file and make a vs 2005 .csproj file with a

the header has xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003">
which I think forces it to a dataset when I read it in as a xmldocument
The section below ends up being a Table "EmbeddedResource" and I get an
