Using ASPFileUpload
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;299692) and works
for IE6 and FireFox but not Safari.

Our website has a form with a file upload control (<input
type="file">). We are experiencing a problem when accessing this page
from the clients web site from a safari browser. After selecting a
file and pressing submit, a "downloads" window pops up and its
attempting to download the aspx page that it should be posting back
to. It just hangs at this point. This problem only occurs on there
asp.net web server...not our own. Anybody familiar...

I've got a rather strange issue occuring.
I used forms based .NET authentication, although I'm also setting some
session variables when people login.
However, I've found when people use one of my webform pages which includes a
button that pops up a window where you can upload files, if you upload files
in this popup window, it seems to somehow clear out all of the session

I'm having some serious difficulties with my ASP.Net 2.0 app rendering in
Safari 2.0.3. The most immediate problem is that the menu control doesn't
seem to work at all, particularly the use of dynamic levels.
I've Googled around a bit and determined that the problem is not so much
with Safari as it is with ASP.Net inaccurately determining the browser
capabilites for that browser. In the 2.0 Framework it appears that browser

I am using Regular Expressions and Javascript to validate a form,
specifically I want to make sure that if they try to upload a file that
it has a proper name w/ certain extensions (doc,pdf, rtf). The script
works on IE and Mozilla but fails on Safari on the MacOSX. Here is my

I have an aspx page that is sending pdf files to client browsers: it uses a filestream to read the pdf file and
response.binarywrite to send content to the browser. This has worked great for years in IE, Firefox and Opera on
windows, and it works on a Mac with Firefox and Opera. But this fails in Safari with the generic message "A network
error occurred while accessing this document".

I've checked out this page (and it works fine) in FF, IE, Opera, Chrome and Safari:

But when I try and tweak it for a site I'm working on, it doesn't work in Chrome and Safari.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
