I have a problem that I run into a lot with the 'legend' command's
default behavior. I've found a work-around but I wonder if there's a

I use IFontDisp and some other stuff from stdole in VB.NET, but sometimes
Visual Studio simply refuses to compile, complaining about various stdole
errors (for example, it wants me to add a reference to stdole even though I
already have a reference to stdole).
At this point, restarting Visual Studio can sometimes help, but sometimes
not...

I have a function that always takes 16 bytes of data and doesn't modify
it:
void func( byte const (*data) );
However, if I try to call it with non-const data, the compiler is
unable to perform the conversion:
static const byte bar1 = { 0 };

I have an ASP.NET/VB.NET web application running on Server A (lets say Fred http://fred/MyApplication/]) flawlessly. The web application is using impersonation to gain access to SQL Server. Server A is also known under another DNS (lets say Bob http://bob/MyApplication]). If I access the same exact web application using Bob as the DNS instead...

this is very annoying.
Posting to so many lists is even more annoying. You might not get
a single helpful answer just because people are so frustrated by
this behavior.

If I understand correctly you want default values for non-existing keys.
There are two ways for achieving this:
Way 1: use the get() method of the dict object:
conf.get(key, default)
which is the same as:
conf if key in conf else default

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention.
