Hello all.
I'm in the process of writing a business app in Python. (defining
business app: data entry, validation, interactive reports, etc). For
my purposes, it must be a native app (wxWidgets, GTK or Qt-based). A
web application will not do it (although I would love it).
To make a long history short: I used to develop business apps for a

We have multiple ASP.Net web apps in development. As a standard we
are looking to go with SQL Server to hold state information.
Can we have the multiple apps all point to a single State DB? Or do we
need to install multiple instances of the State database on to the SQL
Server (one for each Web app)?

I understand that VS.NET is supposed to compile native Win32 apps that
do not require the .Net runtime. If that's the case then there is
something else from the VS200x package that is required.
MSVCR80.DLL and MSVCR80D.DLL are present and accounted for in
Windows\System32. This is something else.
Message says that the application configuration is incorrect. I just

ASPX which means ASPX pages, the code-behind concept, User Controls,
Web Controls etc. is very poorly designed and makes it extremely hard
to develop professional quality web applications.
ASPX is Microsoft's attempt to "dumb down" web application development
to help unskilled developers such as web design agencies achieve some
results.
For high quality applications IHttpHandlers are the way to go.

I have a server where two different users are each running a different
web application. I installed SugarCRM for one, and Info@Hand (built
from SugarCRM) for the other. Both are trying to save and access the
same file in the PHP session_save_path (/tmp/
sess_c2b09aac9b607b1df05d73c7f1c4cbb1).
