Hello all,
I needed this and did a quick search around and didn't see any
examples.
I knew it had to be easy, and it was.
So here it is a CD_Autorun program in python.
It is very simple and without comments is only about 30 lines.
Also included a setup.py at the end of the script so you can
'compile' it easily.

have recently installed .net framework bootstrapped plug in to include mdac
and .net framework in my custom application setup. Now the problem is, MS
Windows Installer 1.5 is getting included the package?
I was trying to install my app on a computer running Windows 98 and got an
error that windows installer information in not included and setup
terminated?
How can I fix this?

I've created a windows service that has a reference to another class library
project. This all exists in VS.NET as a single solution. It is in release
mode, and I'm ready to create an installer. I've added a new project to my
solution of the type "Setup Wizard". I indicated it was a Windows
Application, and that I wanted everything included with the exception of the
debug files. I did not add any additional files.

Background:
1. My Windows Service written in .NET 1.1 and deployed via MSI (Windows
Installer)
2. My Windows Service is upgraded to .NET 2.0 with deployment project using
MSI (Windows Installer)
Upgrade code is the same from the .NET 1.1 version to the .NET 2.0 version

I created a solution in vs2003 that has a set-up project included . I have
now imported the solution into vs2005. The problem is that the set-up
project keeps giving me the warning "Windows Installer is not included in

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
