I've got an STL class (see below) with two functions to store and
retrieve data - msg structs.
The "Store" function when called will copy the received message
(depending on which message) into the appropriate array. For instance
if I receive a RCVD_MSG1, I'll copy into msg1 . Upon receipt of
the next RCVD_MSG1. I'll copy into msg1 ....

I have a template class, say template<typename T> class A {...}. Now,
in the program I instantiate several As of different types: A<int>,
A<double>, A<string> etc. How can I store them in a container?
Thanks.

I have a class Conception and I have this in a vector, it should be:
vector<Conception> vek; // vector
vector<Conception>::iterator vek; // iterator to vek
But what if I want to have pointers to class Conception instead? How
can I do that? And how should I write to declare an iterator to this
vector?

Is it possible to store a pointer to a template function whose template
type is not known until runtime?
eg,
Can I store a pointer to this?
template<class T> f() {...}
I know how to store pointers to ordinary functions, but not template
functions.

Hi,
I am generally new to OOP and in learning and writing code I have
developed many of my own reusable methods.
A. What is the best way to store these methods for easy reuse later?
I was thinking:
1. Word document (e.g. create a "code reference book")
2. create .DLLs to store related methods

Hi,
short: I want to figure out which construct is best suited to store nested values in a template class.
background: For my website, I have a template class, that provides my output class with the necessary files (filenames, resp.) which to include/process.
example: for a given site ("sample.php") I instantiate the template and feed it to...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
