Hello:
I have a stored procedure for generating our invoices in Crystal
Reports. I have added a new field to the SP, but when I try to add the
field to my Crystal Report invoice, the field isn't available in the
list. However, if I create a new, blank report using the same stored
procedure as the datasource, the field is available. I've seemingly
tried every iteration of "Verify Database" to no avail.
The obvious answer would be to...

Hello,
I am trying to build a Crystal report VisualStudio.NET for an ASP.NET
application. I would like to build a report that doesn't connect to
any particular database at design time because I am planning to pass a
dataset to the report at runtime. From what I have read, it sounds
like unbound fields might be the answer. However, I am having trouble
figuring out how to bind these unbound fields to my dataset at
runtime.

I need to write a Crystal Reports report by passing it an array of
objects. The report needs to cycle through the array and print an
address label for each object.
I cannot figure out how to use CR by getting data from an object. Can
anyone help?
TIA

Hi everybody-
I'm trying to use a checkbox to control whether or not a date field in
a query "Is Null" or "Is Not Null."
I have 2 date fields: InDate and OutDate. If there is an OutDate, then
the record is finished. If there is no OutDate, then the record is not
finished.
I'm using an unbound form (frmStatus) to enter data into a query to

Hi All:
I know this is simple, but I just can't seem to get there:
I need to sort a table by a text field (txtDescription), then assign
sequential numbers to the field SEQUENCE in table.
Every time a new record is added, the all SEQUENCE #'s must be reset.
The re-numbering will be triggered by an EXPORT button.

Hello,
I have searched that error on these message boards, msdn and
crystaldecisions.com. I found tutorials that showed how to export a
crystal report to pdf, but like many others I am getting an error when
I actually do the oRpt.Export() command. The error is "Missing
parameter field current value." I looked this error up on
crystaldecisions.com and they had a patch which I downloaded, installed
and rebooted the machine, but still...

The 2nd edition of ProfessionalCrystal Reports for Visual Studio .NET states "you will learn how to bind data from your project with this field..." regarding unbound fields. I cannot find where this is explained anywhere in the book
I want to assign a string to an unbound field in my Crystal Report and I can't figure out the code

Hello everyone,
I hav been facing a problem since a few days. I'm using crystal report with .net 2005 (.Net framework 2.0). In a report I'm retrieving the values from a database table and showing it. But the problem is that if a certain field is blank in database then it's showing a complete blank white field in the report also. This is what I don't want. For example- suppose there's a field in datbase named EntryDate which is not mandatory. So...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
