MSFT Dragging Down NASDAQ

Here's a comparison chart of MSFT vs NASDAQ.

An investment in MSFT produces almost no returns, while NASDAQ has been
soaring during the recovery.

Bottom Line: MSFT has not recovered and in fact, faces a long steady
decline in value.

FUD: Recently the new FUD line from M$ Organs such as the Motley Fool is
to call a stock 'overvalued'. A recent headline 'linux stocks are
overvalued' came purely from the mind of a m$ disinformation specialist.

The numbers tell a differing story. Look at the chart and see --
anybody who has a dime in MSFT will never see that dime again. It will
reemerge as a penny, once BG and SB have cashed in their stock and hit
the road to the next carnival stop.

In ASP.NET, what technology would I use to drag images around the screen? Once the dragging is over, I'd need to fire an event in my codebehind using the x/y of the new placement of the image.

I have a Windows app (.net v1.1) and I am dragging from a list box. The first drag works fine, but all subsequent drags continue to pull the first item that was dragged. It appears that MouseDown does not cause the SelectedItem to change (even though the highlighted item changes). So, if I click down on a non-highlighted item and drag it off the list box, the new item looks selected, but is not really the SelectedItem. I see that the...

I'm trying to create a basic slider and I'm having absolutely no luck in firefox. Could someone please offer some hints as to what could be wrong? I think it's to do with the focus change upon clicking, but I'm not sure. It's just not dragging properly. It's at http://users.tpg.com.au/sobey1/slide.html Cheers dave

I am looking for a javascript solution to drag a series of images (along the horizontal axis only) within a fixed div to give the same drag effect of Google Maps. Here are the requirements: The div will be fixed, and its only display purpose is to give the preception of a "viewport" or window with its border. A variable number of images will be displayed inside the div. They will be aligned in a horizontal series, side by side, with some...

Does anyone have, or can anyone suggest a URL for code to drag a control around a form at run time? VB.Net 2003. I have written stuff in VB6 to do this before, but a long time ago and I don't have the code to refer to anymore. Cheers, Tull.

Hi, I noticed that if i view some jpeg files via Picturebox control (.net 2.0) placed in to a single form, while dragging the form around the screen, then the form slutters, dragging slows down and jitters occur. With same jpeg files other 3rd party picture viewers works very well when compared to a .net 2.0 picturebox control. (original image size, both) Is there a problem about picturebox or rendering?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
