Visual Studio 2003 .Net / C#
I have a datagrid, which is bound to a dataset at runtime when my page
loads. When the user double clicks a row, I need to find out which row they
have selected so I can pass the key value onto another page, which is showing
me more details for the selected row. So in the double click event of the
datagrid I have this code:
DataRow CurrentRow = dsJobList.Tables.Rows;

I need some help programmatically causing a row in a DataGrid to "flush"
its contents to its bound data (in Visual Studio 6 using Windows Forms
with C#).
My issue is I want to send an update to a database from a menu command
while the user is editing a DataGrid. This is unusual in regard to
examples and normal practice in that the cell of the DataGrid still has
the focus. In all examples I can find, the user normally presses a
button on...

I'm having difficulty deleting rows from a datagrid. I want to put a "delete"
button on a form and achieve the same functionality as hitting the "delete"
key on the keyboard for the selected row of a datagrid.
I really want to do it generically so I have subclassed datagrid and made my
own delete row method but I can only get it to work for datasources that are
datatables or dataviews.
Specifically when the datasource is a DataSet I...

Hello,
I know this has been discussed a lot already because I've been searching
around for information the last few weeks.
I'm trying to implement a DataGridComboBoxColumn class. I've found
several examples on the web. They all seem to have problems, though
that I've been unable to resolve.
The most promising example I have found is at:

I have a DataGrid on the left and TextBoxes (TB) on the right. The TB's
reflect the contents of the grid cells.
Sorting of columns (both thru VS and programmatically) work fine except,
when the form/grid first opens up and the grid is immediately sorted the TB
don't reflect the sorted data of the First row of the grid.
Note: Initially the black grid indicator arrow points to the first row. If
the user choses another row and then sorts...

Hi there,
I got a NullReferenceException when delete last row in a datagrid.
I had hard time to solve since it does not occur in my own code.
I put a datagrid in my inherited user control, then put this control on a
form.
I use DataAdaptor to fill the data table and update database.

I have a window application. In one of the form, a datagrid has a dataview
as its datasource. Initial filtering result would give the datavew 3 items.
When I double click on the datagrid to edit the selected lie item at which
case I would pop up a separate dialog box to do so, in the debugging code,
the dataview.count would return 0. I get a error message because I tried to
get values out of a dataview that holds 0 items. Does anyone...

I'm assigning a new datasource (a datatable) to a datagrid that is
aready displayed in a form. Then I assign a new value to
CurrentRowIndex.
The datagrid always scrolls so that the new current row is visible.
However, the vertical scrollbar does not always adjust accordingly.
Upon the first instance of assigning a new datasource and setting the
currentrowindex to the _last_ record, the part of the vertical
scrollbar that can be...

hi everyone
ive written a huge unwieldy program for my company's annual maintenance
contract tracking! :) ok, my dataset has two relations : one table is called
AMC and is linked to AMC1. AMC1 in turn, is the parent table of AMC2. my
datagrid shows information only from AMC 1 and 2.
this is my problem:
when the user collapses a row in the datagrid, i need to know the exact row

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
