I have followed instructions on the http://allenbrowne.com/tips.html
for limiting a report to a date range. At the bottom there is a note
that says
You will end up using this form for all sorts of reports. You may add
an option group or list box that selects which report you want printed,
and a check box that determines whether the report should be opened in
preview mode.
I have tried several times to do this but can't figure it out....

I am using SQL Server 2000 as a back-end to a VS.net Client/Server app. In
a certain report I use a view as part of the query spec. For the view, at
present, I am querying for all the records in the table. But I am wondering
if there is a way, at runtime, to pass values to the View (like start date
and end date) so that I don't have to return every record in the table of my
view. If I can't pass a parameter, perhaps I can create a view,...

Hi, I have a crystal report version 9 in vb .net 2002, am calling the parameters at runtime and not using the crystal parameter box. I get results by hard coding the discrete values
But, I really need to call all results for the parameter in a separate windows form in a combo/drop-down text box, whatever, before loading the viewer. There could be thousands of results, so must handle this way. The user would choose one or several, then once...

I'm able to pass string parameters with no problems to a LocalReport being
displayed by the ASP.NET ReportViewer control. However, my report also has
a DateTime parameter. LocalReport.SetParameters(..) only seems to allow me
to set string parameters. Is there a way to pass DateTime (or other types)
of parameters? Or can I only use string parameters in a LocalReport if I
need to pass them in from my ASP.NET app?
Thanks,
cpnet

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
