Accessing com lines in .NET

Is there a simple way to access the serial RS232 ports
com1: and com2: without using mscomm32.ocx (i.e. is there
a file stream within .NET) I've being going through the
documentation and can't get any hits on anything
reasonable (like com1, rs232, com ports). .NET has
intrinsic support for ethernet connections. Doesn't it
believe in old fashioned things like com ports?

I haven't seen a Native .net implementation yet, but here's a few links that
may get you started:

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention.
