When I ordered my new laptop, Sony didn't offer Access 2003 in its bundles.
Recently, I have begun to design Access databases using an copy of Access
2002 from my previous laptop. It works fine, but I would like to have all
the office apps on the same version. So I have a few questions:
1) Is the file format the same as 2002? Can 2002 users read 2003 files?
2) What are the major reasons for upgrading to 2002 ?

Hi all,
I have a stand-alone VC++ .NET 2002 program in my Windows
XP Pro PC. I got a trial-version of Windows Server 2003 in
CD-ROM. I saw a warning about losing some files of my
VC++ .NET 2002 program, when I tried to install the
Windows Server 2003 in my PC. Is any way to install the
Windows Server 2003 without hurting the VC++ .NET 2002?
Can they co-exist in the same Windows XP Pro PC? Please
help and advise.

Hello,
When I installed Visual Studio .NET 2002 on a .NET Server trial version at
the office it said the product had incompatibilities with .NET Server. Has
anybody had any problems?
I have problems creating Web applications with this version of Visual Studio
in .NET Server 2003? Do I need Visual Studio 2003?
Thanks in advance,

Is is possible to install Microsoft visual studio .NET Enterprise
Developer 2002 on a Windows 2003 machine? If so what must one do
besides install an earlier version of the ASP.NET extenstions?
Windows 2003 comes with ASP.NET v1.1.4322 and my experience trying to
do this install .NET 2002 requires ASP.NET v1.0.3705, which I added
and enabled but still can't install .NET 2002.

I have a web application built in ASP 3.0 that uses data from SQL Server 2000
to generate Visio 2002 drawings, save the drawings to a file on the webserver
and then send that file to the browser. We've successfully installed and ran
the application with Windows 2000 server, Windows Server 2003 (Web Edition
and Enterprise), Windows 2000 Professional, and Windows XP and with SQL
Server 7 and 2000.
Now we've attempted another installation...

We are running an Access 2000 MDB with a SQL 7 back end. Our network guy is
upgrading to Windows Server 2003 and wants to upgrade Office and SQL Server
at the same time. We're moving to SQL Server 2005, and, since he already has
licenses for Office Pro 2002, he wants to upgrade to that.
I've been saying that we need to upgrade to Access 2003, not 2002, even if
Office is kept at 2002. We are also looking to do a fair amount of...

It works fine in one office (4 computers ) but when I place in in another office the MS Dislog control is missing??? and get a dialog box to that effect . The files are in System32 folder of windows. Access 2002 & Access 2003.
Why would this happen ?
I am on vacation now and don't have...

Hello
I develop my applications in Access 2002. My development system is
running Windows XP SP2 and I have Microsoft Office XP Developer.
Microsoft Office XP is at SP3.
I used Inno Setup (great product) to install my applications.
When the Access Runtime was needed on the system I simply ran
'accessrt.msi' from Microsoft Office Developer discs.
When another version of Access (other than Access 2002) was on the
system then I simply...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
