Hi, I'm in the middle of building a Content
Management System to be used by out school. It has
gotten to the stage where I'm going to have to
start building admin pages so that others can be
admins, So I'm going to have to rewrite several
pages to cater for this. What I'm wondering is,
what is the best way to store admin variables?
Should I put them in a table in MySQL or in a flat
file? Do you think that it would slow my server
down...

How can I get state of dynamically created controls (RadioButton, CheckBox,
TextBox.Text) on post back when I click submit button?
The only way I know is by traversing Response.Form enumberator;
Response.Form.GetEnumerator(), etc. while, identifying specific controls by
programmatically assigned unique id (e.g. MyButton_AnswerID_123).
However, I am not sure if that is the proper way. What is the common
practice?

I have a strange situation and I have no idea how to solve this.
Its a Recruitment Search Page,in the Admin Page, for every button click
event the Admin Person has to create a checkbox on the users page. So
whenever the Admin person comes to know about the new category in the market
he will be adding as different Sub-Categories for example ABAP, BDC
etc..etc.. on every click event as Checkboxes. And these

In classic ASP, I used to use two include files on each page, one before
and one after the main content, to provide a consistent layout across a
web site. That way I could just change the include files to change the
layout. When I came to ASP.NET, I used user controls to do a similar
thing.
I have just been looking at master pages, and it looks like they do the

I'm using ASP.net with Framework vs 1.1
I'm inheriting from a custom rolled master page class that is just that a
class that inherits from web.ui.page but it has no designer associated with
it. I want to generate some HTML inside the class and then that stuff will be
on every actual .aspx page that inherits from my master page class.
I want this to be output on every page (amongst other stuff)

I'm trying to build a mini-CMS for a friend (ASP.NET 2.0/VB) - just a
simple admin page w/ a text box and button that inserts some text into
a database (I'm using Access 2003 - text is going into a Memo field)
that will subsequently be fed to a page to display. The insert works
just fine - I've put more than 1,000 characters in without incident.
However, on the page that needs to display the text, the text is
truncated to about 200...

I've successfully added some .NET validation controls to a page (using
<asp:RequiredFieldValidator ...), however when I try to set the 'display'
