I'm trying to figure out how to enable chunked encoding with php over apache2 for a particular page. My php/apache combination definitely supports chunked encoding, because a page which calls only phpinfo() uses it. On the other hand, pages without phpinfo() don't get sent with chunked encoding (content-length is used instead). Does anyone know how to specifically enable chunked encoding for a given page? Thanks, Jon

When I get the following input stream of chunked data I ge Request.TotalBytes = -1 because there is not Content-Length. The following will work because I hardcoded the correct length: TotalBytes = 16 strBRequest = Request.BinaryRead(TotalBytes) I get: 16 bytes of data (see below) However, if I don't know the length and try to use something > 16 li 100 then I get at error and the TotalBytes is set to 16 and th

Hi! My app does quite a bit of work downloading large chunks of data from different web servers. One of problems I face is to provide approximate progress reports to users showing download progress. While task is trivial when web servers set Content-Length header in response its getting to be really hard when server uses chunked encoding. The only way according to HTTP 1.1 RFC 2616 to get info on total size of the chunked message is to...

Hi all, Has anyone ever seen Python 2.4.1's httplib choke when reading chunked content? I'm using it via urrlib2, and I ran into a particular server that returns something that httplib doesn't expect. Specifically, in the code below where the error occurs, line == ''. Python 2.4.1 (#2, Oct 12 2005, 01:36:32) 20050518] on freebsd6 Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. >>> import urllib2

The release notes for IIS 6.0 talks about ASP support for POSTs from clients that are using chunked Transfer-encoding. Does anyone know what this support means? It does not seem to be possible to use Request.BinaryRead, and Request.TotalBytes returns -1. Thanks

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
