Crystal Report Formatting

Hi,

I've produced a Crystal Report in Crystal Reports.NET
with rounded corner shaded boxes.

When I send it directly to the Printer using
PrintToPrinter( ) it is formated correctly. When I view
it in the Crystal Report Viewer The corners of the boxes
are not rounded and the back colour is white.

When we call the ExportToDisk function and specify a pdf
file the box is shaded, but the corners are not rounded.

Has anyone else experienced these problems and if so what
can I do to get around this?

We need to print it directly to the Printer and then have
an EXACT copy in PDF format.

Thanks for your time
Matt

First, this is _not_ a question about how to get Crystal Reports to run on a client machine. I've got all the merge modules added to the project and it's working fine. The question is about distributing my .RPT files. 1) Initial Setup Project inclusion of .rpt files: My folder of new .RPT files keeps growing. Is there a way to point my deployment/setup project to the folder containing these .RPT files so they are added...

I have built a crystal report using crystal9.0 that is linked to a stored procedure built in sql2k, which requires 2 parameters beginningdate(smalldatetime),and endingdate(smalldatetime). When the parameters are met in crystal the report shows up correctly with no problems, but when the report is displayed using the crsyatal report viewer in my c# app, the report is not displayed at all after crystal prompts for the parameters. The viewer...

Dear All, I am working on the formatting of a Crystal Report, I'd noticed that setting BottomLineStyle, and other xxxLineStyle can only be shown when user export the report into PDF format, other than that, displaying such crystal report on ASP.Net 2.0 pages will not show the lines. Because I use CrystalReportViewer control to call the report, I had turn off property, still can't show the BottomLineStyle. Is this a limitation of...

I am using .NET 2005 and the integrated Crystal Reporting Engine (v10.2). I don't know what in the world is happening but something isn't right. When I prevew my report in the designer, everything LOOKS just as I designed it. When I actually run the application utilizing a reportviewer control, the report loses and adds it's own formatting. For instance. I have text fields all over the form that are set with their fonts to...

Having a really hard time finding solid examples on deploying a CR .NET applcation on my intranet. I'll explain what I've done so far, and toward the bottom is where I can't print using the report viewer's gui button. I have a Windows XP sp2 Client machine used for development, it has Visual Studio 2005 sp1 and CR XI R2 Developer Version. My webserver is running Windows Server 2003 sp1, IIS 6.0, has CR XI R2 developer. I have a working...

Hello I am creating some crystal reports (for visual studio 2005) based on the content of certain .NET objects. I'm doing this in .NET 2.0. For one of them I'm using a Cross-table to summarize the information of a bunch of objects. The actual data is numeric. Since these reports are meant to be flexible number formatting must be configured as defined by the requirements. For example, sometimes the values will have to be rounded to 5...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
