VS .NET 2002 Support for Windows Server 2003

Hello! I'm not sure if this is the right group to post
to but I was hoping to find out if, 1) VS .NET 2002
development is supported on Windows Server 2003, and 2)
Applications (Windows or Web) developed using VS .NET
2002 are supported on Windows Server 2003.

If anyone can help me understand these 2 items, that
would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Mandeep

Morning All I have been developing and deploying with Office 2000 for about 3 years, mainly Access based programs and although I have gotten used to it's quirks, I am starting to feel that I should be switching to Office 2002 or maybe 2003 It would mean upgrading a lot of existing work, not to mention 3rd party tools that I have bought over the years. I'll switch if there are any real benefits but if it is just marginally better I'll...

Hi all, I have a stand-alone VC++ .NET 2002 program in my Windows XP Pro PC. I got a trial-version of Windows Server 2003 in CD-ROM. I saw a warning about losing some files of my VC++ .NET 2002 program, when I tried to install the Windows Server 2003 in my PC. Is any way to install the Windows Server 2003 without hurting the VC++ .NET 2002? Can they co-exist in the same Windows XP Pro PC? Please help and advise.

I have problems creating Web applications with this version of Visual Studio in .NET Server 2003? Do I need Visual Studio 2003? Thanks in advance,

Currently all of our Dev/Test/Production servers have .NET Framework 1.0 on WIN 2000 servers. We use VS.NET 2002 for development. We have various applications such as InterNet app, IntraNet app, Windows service, Executables, Webservices etc written in C# . We are planning to migrate to ..NET Framework 1.1 and VS.NET 2003. But the OS is going to remain the same WIN 2000. What are the things I need to take care or know about? Any...

We are running an Access 2000 MDB with a SQL 7 back end. Our network guy is upgrading to Windows Server 2003 and wants to upgrade Office and SQL Server at the same time. We're moving to SQL Server 2005, and, since he already has licenses for Office Pro 2002, he wants to upgrade to that. I've been saying that we need to upgrade to Access 2003, not 2002, even if Office is kept at 2002. We are also looking to do a fair amount of...

The Reps team have been experiencing that Access 2002 unexpectedly quits while working and also lots of Corruption Failures and "Record lock can not update" messages since the upgrade from Windows 2000 and Access 200 to Windows XP and Access 2002 (XP) was done. Now, they are working and at anytime in anywhere of the application access unexpectedly quits with no error messages and the info that was being entered

I am trying to create a DLL in Visual Studio 2005-Visual Basic that contains custom functions. I believe I need to use COM interop to allow VBA code in Excel 2002 to access it. I've studied everything I can find on COM Interop and .NET. I've also tried many of the 'Walkthroughs' on the MSDN site relating to COM add-ins, .NET and Office XP but am unable to get even these working in Excel 2002 or Word 2002. I've installed the Office XP...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
