mysql Normalization

Hii.
I need to normalize my database tables. Can you just tell me the rules to be followed for it . May be this might be a discussion rather than a question !

You may also want to take a look at Database Normalization and Table Structures, over in the Access Insights forum.

Even though it is written with Access in mind, the same rules apply to all RDBMSs, including MySQL.
