Before anything else, I suggest that you normalize your database. Since you have a user, you can create a User table under it are fields like username, password, info, image and so on....
After creating this kind of table, you can easily retrieve the image without passing the image itself on the session variable. You can use the username of the user to access the the User table and easily get the image stored on the database and post it. Of course all you need is to create a session variable that contains the username after logging in. Then you can use the username to display all the the needed image.
