I have a form with a multi-select combo. I dynamically build a SELECT
statement, open a report, and set the recordsource to my dynamic SELECT
statement. I count the records returned in the report by setting a text box
to =Count(*). This works fine.
Now I want to count the unique records in my report. I can dynamically
create a SELECT statement that counts unique records. My statement looks
like this:

I have always just got a count on records and put up a box at the top
of the entry forms saying something like 1 of 500 and updating it as
you got to 500 of 500.
I have never thought of this as meaning anything just a reference.
Now they are wanting it for lookups, even though I have lookup
pulldowns based on other criteria..
Well we want to see rec 200 on the report and an easy way to go to
record 200.
