I have been losing sleep over this puzzle, and I'm convinced my train
of thought is heading in the wrong direction. It is difficult to
explain my circumstances, so I will present an identical make-believe
challenge in order to avoid confusing the issue further.
Suppose I was hosting a dinner and I wanted to invite exactly 12 guests
from my neighborhood. I'm really picky about that... I have 12 chairs
besides my own, and I want them all...

Hi, This is kind of last minute, I have a day and a half left to figure

creating a ticket sales system, as part of the system, I need to be
able to do a search for specific tickets withing price ranges,
different locations within the theaters, etc. etc.
My problem is in the search one of the criteria is to search for a

still haven't been able to solve my problem...
I have two tables 'Pupil' and 'SEN' which are related on a field called
'UPN' (unique pupil number).
I have a form which is bound to a query that is drawn from both of these
tables and contains Pupil.UPN but not SEN.UPN aswell.

Hi folks,
I have a problem with an MS Access SQL query which is being used in an
Access Report, and am wondering if anyone can help.
Basically, my query (shown below) gets some records from a couple of
tables in my database using INNER JOINS and the WHERE clause to
specify the required constraints. However, I also want to read two
fields from a *single* record from a table called 'Locations' and then
apply one of these field's values...

I thought I was starting to get a handle on Access, until I tried
doing something useful...now I'm stuck. I have a DB with two tables -
to keep it simple I'll say that one is an Employee File (Employees),
and the other is an Address File (Addresses) linked by SSN. I've set
Addresses as a Lookup Table - If the user starts typing in the SSN it
should pull up the Employees records.
I'm getting stuck in the Data Entry form. When I type in...

I have access 97 database being run by multiple users. It was working fine
until I created a form and a macro to open the form at start-up. Now only
one user can open the table. If a second user attempt to open the same table
at the same time, there is an error message that says "table cannot be lock,
it is being used by user A on machine C or you may not have permmision to
open table". Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem? I...

This group came through for me last time so here we go again. My page
shows paint colors, brand name, product code, etc in a gridview with
the background matching the paint color. Several links on the page are
used to call itself with querystring values for brand, thinner,
finish, etc. The page must show all colors if the querystring is
empty and filter out records that don't match the querystring value
when it's not. I've tried building...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
