I was wondering if it is possible to create a secure database system
using RDBMS(MySQL, Oracle, SQL*Server, PostgreSQL etc) and web

Am attempting to setup master/slave replication in Windows environment. Both
master and slave are running WinXP. Master appears to be logging correctly,
but cannot get slave to update its databases and tables from the master.
MySQL 4.1.10a-nt is running on the master. MySQL 4.1.7-nt is running on the
slave.
Only workgroups are used on LAN, no domain.

Hello,
We are using mysql v4.0.24 on Linux machines.
I'm trying to set up replication with a master and only one slave
database.
The syncronization seems to work well, the relay file on slave is wrote
correctly (Read_Master_Log_Pos and Relay_Log_Pos are updated) but the
information on slave database is not updated.
Master and slave are sincronyzed as shown below but for some reason I
don't understand.

First let me say I'm not interested in replication.
I want to sync a target database with a source database at regular intervals (say weekly), but
in the intermediate time they may differ.
The sync process should essentially "make the remote copy of this database look exactly like the
local copy".
I have seen some tools online that claim to do something like this, but I was wondering if there

Is MySql supports pear to pear replication ( I wanted to duplicate data of master database to salve database at run time for each and every transaction ) ? If no then how to achive it ?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
