Hi.

What do you mean by "Membership table"?

Is this some special ASP.Net/SQL Server thing you want to mimic using MySQL, or are you simply trying to set up a table for storing your web's member information?

Ok.
What information is it exactly that you want stored?

Have you tried doing this yourself?
What have you tried? Can we see the code?
Why (how) did it not work?
Did you get any errors? Can we see them?
What exactly is it that you are having problems with?

I'm more than happy to help you solve problems you may face while writing your code, but I will not do it for you.

I know very little about asp.net, but from the posts on this thread so far, it sounds like you are trying to mimic something that comes as standard set of tables or module in asp.net.

To get better help, first you have to explain what it is you are trying to do, as not many of the people visiting this forum have much knowledge of asp.net. Do you mean by login user ID and password the credentials for connecting to the database? Or are you talking about user ID and password that is to be stored in a database table which will then provide access to some application?

If it is the latter you want, then you need to create appropriate tables yourself in mysql.

I hope this helps, I also may have completely misunderstood what your needs are.

Greetings! I've searched groups.google.com already to see if I can determine if using PHP/MySQL (if needed) for a web site I wish to develop. As the subject indicated, it will be a content based site with videos - NO, it's not a porn site though. I thought that I'd list the key requirements/specifications for my web site below and was wondering if some of you'd be so kind as to provide your thoughts on each and comment on them with...

I am setting up a new web application with ASP.NET 2.0 and I was wanting to utilize the 2.0 Membership and Profiles system. However, I am having a lot of trouble importing a table of user info into the aspnet_Users table due to the unique identifiers and large number of dependencies this new system has. Is there any way to easily import exisiting user data into the 2.0 Membership system without having to do data entry for 200+ users? ...

Although this will be a challenge at my level of ASP.NET knowledge, I'm thinking I should implement my own membership provider class. Looking over the methods I must implement, a number of questions come to mind. 1. How would one implement GetNumberOfUsersOnline? I'm not sure where there is any indication of this? And it this affected by the "Remember me next time" checkbox, which doesn't seem to work like it does on any other site...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
