How long does MySQL certification take?

I passed my MySQL Core Certification Exam over three weeks ago; I
passed the MySQL Professional Exam over a week ago.

I still await my certificates from MySQL. I haven't even received my
Core Certification certificate yet.

Does anybody here know how long it is supposed to take (before I get
my actual certificates)?

Many thanks,
Donna

Hi Donna,

I'm in the same boat... it's been a month since my exams.

For comparison , the Sun certificates arrive within about 3 weeks, and IBM
certificates are e-mailed (as PDFs) with a few days. Might be something
MySQL AB could look at.

Hi, I'm clear as to what is meant by "The mysql client" in the MySQL core certification revision check list. I understand that the mysql database itself is the "server". Would client then be any program that talks to the server? Perhaps it is referring to mysql, the command line tool? I understand "client side programs", examples being: mysqladmin, mysqldump, and mysqlimport. These are known as "mysql client commands" also? Thank you,

Hi, Is there a certification for C/C++ that I could take the test for. If there isn't one (ie, like Java Programmer by Sun), is there a course that has a test which gives you a certificate for C/C++ that is of good reputation? Thanks, M

Since i cannot show the differences in a two-column like table. I am first putting MS SQL Server 2005 and then MySQL 5.x. MS SQL Server 2005 Brief Overview - SQL Server is a full-fledged database system developed specifically for large enterprise databases. All advanced features of a relational database are fully implemented. - Once you purchase the product, you are only limited to the Sybase-derived engine.

Am I correct in assuming that it is NOT normal practice to repeat all the certification exams for the new DB2 version when a new DB2 version comes out? Let's say I took exams 700 and 701 and passed, which give me Associate and DBA certifications for Version 8 of DB2. I seem to recall seeing a special certification exam for each version of DB2 that was called, in effect, "What's New in the This Version of DB2". (I can't recall the exact...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
