Hi,
Is there a way to check the current status of the indexing process
in MySQL ?
I am indexing a huge database and I would like to have an estimation
of the end of the process.
Is the indexing time linear or should I expect any special delay?

Why I am not seeing the row values as per the index set on the table?
It appears in random manner.
I think it should appear ascending as per the index set for one of the Column in Ascending.

basically there is no indexing strategy on a set of data I have at
work. Now, I didn't create the design as I would have allowed for this.
OK, so there is primary key (clustered) indexes (mainly composite

I am writing code to sort the columns according to the sum of each
column. The dataset is huge (50k rows x 300k cols), so i need to read
line by line and do the summation to avoid the out-of-memory problem.
But I don't know why it runs very slow, and part of the code is as
follows. I suspect it's because of array index, but not sure. Can
