Let's say I have this:
std::string s1;
std::cin >> s1;
This will read s1 from cin until it finds a space (or a newline,
whichever comes first).
Okay this works. But when I want to continue reading it reads what's
left over in the cin, and well that's logical.

From looking at sections 27.7.3.2 and 27.7.1.2 of the standard, it appears
str("") does not clear the stream bits. It seems to me that in clearing the
internal buffer, one would intend that the stream bits would also be reset
(in a good state). Is there a reason this is not the defined behavior?

I have developed a medical application with php 4 linked to IBM DB2

The database connection is right and i can access data with no
problem...but sometimes when i reload the page which has been already
loaded (by pressing CTRL-R) i receive an SQL STATE Error:

I've created a data access layer for a .NET web
application. I'm using C# and framework 1.1. I'm getting
an error from time to time when I close a connection
saying: System.InvalidOperationException: A connection
pooling error has occurred.

We are trying to deploy an ASP.Net 2.0 application to a 3-node webfarm.
The application uses the ReportViewer control in local mode, hence we
need session state.
Because we dont wan't a single point of failure we use SQL Session
State.
