Hi,
I am trying to install php-mysql-4.0.6-7.i386.rpm(to get php to work
with mysql as suggested for my earlier error). I get the following
error for
rpm -i php-mysql-4.0.6-7.i386.rpm.
Error failed dependecies : libmysqlclient.so.10 is needed is needed by
php-mysql-4.0.6-7.

../configure --with-apxs=/usr/local/sbin/apxs --
prefix=PREFIX=/usr/local/php5/ --with-mysql --disable-pear
then make and make install

Trying to start mysqld for the first time after a reinstall on Mac OS X
gives me this error:

030709 12:53:27 InnoDB: Operating system error number 13 in a file
operation.

I'm running mysql 4.0.21 on an HP-UNIX machine and I am getting the

Got error 12 from Table Handler
After looking up this error in the MySQL manual,
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/Operating_System_error_codes.html,
I've found that it is an "Out of Memory" error.

Hi everyone. I hope someone can help me with this problem. I have
installed MySQL CE 5.0, but during the configuration wizard I get an error.
It has frozen up during the final step (MySQL Server Instance
Configuration). I'm installing it on Windows XP, and I used all the
default settings, except that I changed "Detailed Configuration" to
"Standard Configuration". At the "Start Service" item in the checklist,

i just finished installing ubuntu 7.10 onto one of the work computers and whenever i try to load it from the hard drive i get the error "Error loading operating system"
the system had XP Home installed, but using ubuntu i fomatted the whole drive and gave it all to ubuntu.
i'm new to the whole linux way, so i have no clue what to do.
