Hello,
The code below is used to grab each row from a CSV file (except the
first row) and insert it into a database, as long as it's not already
in the DB.
If I echo each row's data, it appears only once on the page. But, for
some reason it inserts each row into the database 3 times. The code
that echos the data, and the DB insertion code all appear within the
same for loop.

I'm wanting to output a text header file in front of the data portion
of an output file. However when I use "\n" or "endl" as end of line,
it just puts a 0x0a in the file(which is non-printing)...in Windows
you need the (0x0d 0x0a) pair, if you want a new-line in a text
editor. What's the correct way to get this 2-byte sequence into a
file?

I'm trying to overload the << and >> operators to serialize a class to
disk. It writes things correctly, but it doesn't read them back correctly.
Can someone tell what I'm doing wrong? Here is an example demonstrating

Hi,
I have a table with 20.000.000 of tuples.
I have been monitoring the performance of the insertion and updates,
but not convince me at all.
The table have 30 columns, what and 12 of it, are calcultated column.
The test that i do was this:
1 Insertion with all the columns and calculing the calcultated columns
in the insertion sentence.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
