Hi, wonder if anyone can help me with this - This was originally a simple
search routine returning results back to itself!
Trying to be smart I tried to combine a no. items per page so I could
limited items displayed...
Okay problem! everything seems to be okay except it is returning no results,
when I know it should
the SQL string appears to be okay and if I remove the search criteria
handlers then it kinda works but still not right!

my query:
SELECT * FROM `links` WHERE MATCH ( KEYWORDS ) AGAINST ( 'paper' );
I have a table with 4 records in it of links to various newspapers, paper
and newspaper are both in the keywords field.
The keywords field has a fulltext index on it. Did I totally miss a step
somewhere? The query doesn't error, I just get 0 results back.
Thanks,
Chad Day

Trying to use the 'search' in the docs section of PostgreSQL.org
is extremely SLOW. Considering this is a website for a database
and databases are supposed to be good for indexing content, I'd
expect a much faster performance.
I submitted my search over two minutes ago. I just finished this
email to the list. The results have still not come back. I only
searched for:
SECURITY INVOKER

I'm developing a site that may eventually have a very large database of
users (hopefully, but who knows). It will be a community website where
users can search each other (think Friendster, Classmates, every dating site
out there, etc.).
Often there will be queries with multiple joins and sometimes may include a
few fulltext searches. Each page of results will have a limited number of
results displayed (obviously). As I understand it,...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
