Dear all
How can I convert a datetime in Short Date format to General Date
format and then insert into SQL database?
I get a date from a field using Request("in_date"), which is in Short
Date format. Afterwards, I need to convert it into General Date and
then insert the date into database. But, the date is always inserted as
1/1/1900. Please give me some suggestions.

During registration, users are supposed to enter the following
details: First Name, Last Name, EMail, UserName, Password, Confirm
Password, Address, City, State, Country, Zip & Phone Number. I am
using MS-Access 2000 database table for this app. Note that the
datatype of all the fields mentioned above are Text. Apart from the
above columns, there's another column in the DB table named
'RegDateTime' whose datatype is Date/Time which is...

Hi
I am currently setting up a script so that it inserts information into one table and then follows onto the next few lines and checks to see if the user already has a row in a different table if not the script should insert into the database, if the user already has a row it will update the information by adding the numbers to the ones currently stored in the database.
At present I am testing the second SQL insert which does not work?...

I have got the first 2 tables to update fine but the third I am having difficulty with.

Set Insert = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")
Insert.Open "test", objConn, 1, 3, 2
Insert.AddNew
Insert("FIRSTNAME") = "Joe"
Insert("LASTNAME") = "bob"
Insert("DATE_BORN") = "10/10/80"

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
