Hi All, I want to be able to store data as part of my website. I'm assuming that I''ll need to use PHP scripts to provide this functionality, but what would the best aproach be to storing data?. I could use a database of some sort (maybe MySQL?), but I'm wondering whether there are any other aproaches to data storage that would be less elaborate than a full database. Any ideas?. Dave

I have a how-to-do-it manual like site, related to fishing. I want to add a new interactive question/comment feature to each instructional page on the site. I want (registered) users to be able to add comments at the bottom of each page, similar to the way the php, mysql, apache manuals work. PUNCHLINE_A:

>From the manual "Storage Requirements": "ENUM('value1','value2',...) =1 or 2 bytes, depending on the number of enumeration values (65,535 values maximum)" This seems to mean: "a" = 1 byte of storage "prestidigitation" = 1 byte of storage

I am developing a website in PHP/MySQL, which includes features such as member login, insert/update/delete operations for members to maintain their records, report generation based on database entries, shopping cart but payments will be made through Paypal gateway and the search facility. This is a...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
