Where can I get a database of U.S. Colleges?

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a database of U.S.
Colleges? How do websites like Facebook get their college of databases
(and/or their classes?)? Is there a public database somewhere?

like that.

Before i post actual code, as i need a speedyish reply. Can i first ask if anyone knows off the top of their head, if there is a likely obvious cause to the following problem. For the moment i've reduced my form request to a simple text string entry, instead of my desired optional parameters. As i have been stuck with a single unfathomable glitch for over a year. Basically, if i enter queries such as ; "select * from table" "select * from...

First off I do not know alot about writing queries to an Access Database from an ASP page. This is why I need help. I have an Events database for 6 colleges in our metro area. On the homepage I have to display the next event for each college. That would give me 6 events listed on the page. I have been trying to figure out how to write a query statement in my ASP page to select just the most current event from each college. I have not had...

I have a database named credifree. I did it with mysql's create command. Yet, I can find no files on my linux box except for a\ directory and a gif file that have the name credifree. Why? What's the name mysql might have made a database file under? Where is it stored? Just curious. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx mlh@appserver mlh $ mysql / -u root -p

Ok, I've been browsing through the MySQLdb docs, and I *think* I know the kind of code I need to write (connect, cursor, manipulate data, commmit, etc. -- although I probably need to get more familiar with actual SQL commands too), but here's my problem: I don't know where these scripts are supposed to be executed, or how they are supposed to 'find' the database. Really, I have the same question for two different scenarios: accessing...

I'm ineterested in learning ASP.NET, in conjunction with both C# and VB.NET. However, i don't really know where to start. Are there classes available at local colleges, or do i have to go through microsoft to find classes? would it be easier to try learning on my own by purchasing Dummies books and microsoft official books? Would it be beneficial to pay someone as a private tutor to help me learn it? thanks in advance for the replies!

I've got a piece of script that works that looks like this: ___________________________________________________________ $username="daedalus_admin"; $password="test"; $database="daedalus_db"; mysql_connect(localhost,$username,$password); @mysql_select_db($database) or die( "Unable to select database");

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
