Dear all,
Could you explain why some SQL messages do not possess a SQLSTATE ?
Why not transmitting the SQLSTATE of the original <sqlcode>, for example if
you get a -911 on a RUNSTATS ?
SQL2310N The utility could not generate statistics. Error
"<sqlcode>" was returned.

I'm running DB2 v8.1 FP5 and am trying to link tables via ODBC from Access
2002 to my DB2 database. Access lets me connect to the database and returns

We have a VB6 application using ADO version 2.5 and I am receiving a
" CLI0109E String data right truncation.
SQLSTATE=22001" error when I execute the rs.UpdateBatch method. I have
determined that the error is caused by an extended ascii character 164
(ñ). Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a solution.

What is usually the source of the problem?
Might a null value assigned get a PreparedStatement's
