Thanks to Serge and MarkB for recent tips and suggestions.
Ive rolled together a few stored procedures to assist with creating
audit triggers automagically. Hope someone finds this as useful as I've
found it educational.
Note:
- I build this for use in a JDEdwards OneWorld environment. I'm not
sure how generic others find it but it should be fairly generic.
- I use a C stored procedure GETJOBNAME to get some extra audit data,

Issue: I am inserting an Oracle record containing insert trigger via
Access 2002 using the code below. The issue is that the sequence from
the acSaveRecord is not reflected after the insert so the insert into
the second table section: ' Copy LOB entries now. fails on unique
index constraint (understandable because it has the orig rate_id).
The strange thing is that it works fine for new records that have
beend added and then...

Hello All
I'm running 7.3.4-1 on a RH9 box. I'm having a problem with a trigger
that seems to execute without actually performing the update that it
should. The update returns true everytime however if it is the first time
that the trigger executes on a given row, the column is not updated. The
column is updated correctly on subsequent calls.
Here is the code:

In Postgres 7.3.5 -
When we try to insert a new record into our parties.party table which
is then meant to fire off a trigger to update a column in the table
with some de-normalised information, we get the following error:
ERROR: FLOATING POINT EXCEPTION! The last floating point operation
either exceeded the legal ranges or was a divide by zero.
Can someone help spot our syntax erorr, please?
Many thanks!

I'm using SQL 2000, which is integrated with a VB.NET 2003 app.
I have an Audit trigger that logs changes to tables. I want to apply
this trigger to many different tables. It's the same trigger, with the
exception of the table name. I could manually change the table name in
the trigger and create it, over and over, but I'd like to automate
this - by iterating through the collection of tables and passing the
tablename to something that...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
