I seem to have hit a snag.
I am trying to add the list (l_local) as an item in the output list
(l_output). "l_local" is a modified copy of the format-list "l_format",
which will be updated by index position within the function. The problem
occurs in the following statement block:
def create_apid_list(l_format,l_values):
l_output =
for t_curr_line in l_values: # ...for each list in the values list

Hi,
I am trung to create a mysql query string that contais two variables, the
first holds a table name and the second holds the values as a tuple. I
have tried the following however I can not work out how to get the format
right so the %s is subsituted with the contents of the variable, I think I
just have the quoting wrong, can anyone advise?
tablename contains the table I want to use
datavalue contains the data I want to use...

In Access I have a macro that, each night, takes a table with a
primary key defined in it, and deletes all the rows. Then it
imports/appends records from a fixed width text file. In this way,
since the table is not deleted and recreated, the primary key is kept
intact.
What would be the equivalent SQL method for doing this in an automated
way? I've tried letting DTS import the table from Access, but the
primary key is lost. Is there...

I have tried many iterations of constructing an expanded string link
criteria for a list box selection, but have not been successful. The
List Box uses a Totals Select Query that has a CustID, Customer Name,
Invoice Date and Invoice Amount. There is no InvoiceID/number,
otherwise it would be easy to resolve.
Currently, I must use a parameter query to key in the invoice date in
order to preview/print an invoice from the Invoice Dialog...

Hi---I have to import some data from excel into an Access table--the
code below is working ok but I would like to condense it by running a
loop. The number of records can vary from 1 to 30 in each excel
file--have tried to run a loop through the recs and it quits so I have
just repeated the code below 30 times--any suggestions on how to run a
loop instead and have it quit when it reaches the last line of the
excel file? This code is in an...

I have a table with autoincrement unique ID plus name (required not to
be blank) and other fields.
I have a list of names in another table and would like to do insert to
the name field of the other table. How do I do it?
I get error messages when trying different approaches. In the end, I
removed the unique key/autoincrement, inserted and ID field in the
source and then did copy&append records in the edit menu and changed it
all back....

Hello!
I have below a for loop and a switch in the for loop.
I have also a enum called colBlowStep with some values.
I have also an array called m_columnBlowStep with some strings.
All items in the array m_columnBlowStep is string because I have used
ToString on each enum item as you can see.
I want to use enum in the case statment in the switch.
I know I can use string but I rather want to use enum.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
