I am using Visual Basic 2003 and I have written a notepad like application
using the RichTextBox control. I am having trouble trying to emulate
Microsoft Words text block copy/paste feature. In MS Word you would Hold
Alt
while clicking and dragging the mouse. A block of text would then be
selected
and you can then copy and paste what you have selected. Has anybody done
this?
What I am trying to do is copy multiple columns across...

With Marshal you can copy data from a one-dimensional array to
BitmapData.Scan0.
What do I do if my array is two-dimensional?
Or, alternatively, can I create somehow two variables
byte arr1; // size 480*640
byte arr2; // size
which are references to the same memory block and allow me to access it
at will with one or two indices, e.g. arr1 or arr2?

This sounds complicated but bear with me. I have a datagrid. It is dynamic in
that, i dont know how many columns i will have until the dataset is back so i
have to build the datagrid dynamically. I know there will be at least one
column required however, so I have put into my aspx a template column with a
checkbox in it. Then for the number of columns in my dataset more than 1 I
want to copy that templatecolumn and duplicate it for the...

I have two identical tables with one IDENTITY column and several other
columns.
I have tested the COPY * INTO table2 FROM table1 WHERE xx
but it requers that table2 does not exist.
TABLE2 is a history database of TABLE1
How can I copy row(s) from table1 to table2 without conflict with
IDENTITY columns using SQL query.
Or must I do this from a program (C# .NET)

Hi,
I am trying to do this perl script, but not able to complete it successfully.
Here is the description what the script has to do..
Accept two and only two command line arguments. Again, these will be the names of two directories. This time, make sure that the "sending" directory exists (and is, indeed, a directory). Make sure that the "receiving" directory exists, and if not, create it. Then, copy files from the sending directory to...

I'm trying to copy a Datacolumn from a table to another, but with this code:
destTable.Columns.Add(srcTable.Column);
I got this error:
Column 'colname' already belongs to another DataTable.
Anyone can help me?

I'm trying to throw some data around so that I can manipulate it more easily. Unfortunately, I don't really know what I'm doing. :) So I'm creeping my way through it step by step.
What I have done so far is find the rows of data I need to work with, copied them into a temporary table, and removed them from the original table. Now I am trying to send the manipulated rows back to the original table. The hitch is the original table has two...

If the tasks, I’m trying accomplish have been addressed previously (separately or in combination). Please, provide the links or keyword search to find them. I’ve been searching for code for each part of the task separately and trying to piece together multiple macros, that do something similar, to what I’m trying to accomplish in my over all task, but I’m not having a lot of luck. So, here’s the entire task,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
