Hello.. I am trying to make a filesystem management script.
I want to display a list of files and directories and be able to delete them
from this list....
I made a search on the net and there are loads of them but I am trying to do
something much more simple.
At the moment I can display everything within a folder but if I click on a
directory it won't go into the directory, listing all contents ... it is
just a link.

Is there an already available script/tool able to
extract records and generate proper HTML
code out of the data stored in the Wikipedia
SQL data base?
e.g.
converting all occurences of
] to <a href=xxx>yyy</a>
etc.
Or even better a script/tool able to generate
and write to the disk all the HTML files

hello,
i would like to write a batch file with all sql commands necessary to create
a database, its tables, and populate them with initial data.
would the experts please help me with these problems:
1. how to programmatically, in sql script, check if a known database already
exists on the server, and drop it if it does?
2. similarly, how to check if a table exists and drop it?

Greetings all,
This should be an easy task, and Im sure it is, but as many times as I have
tried, I cant seem to get this to work properly.
We changed ISPs recently from a shared host to a co-located server, and our
former host was nice enough to send us a backup of our old SQL2000 database
(about 5MB).
I went into Enterprise Manager, created an empty database with the same name

Greetings,
I am in the process of installing a SQL database at a customer
location. I have determined that there are 3 ways to do this, and I
wanted to know which is the best of the 3.
1 Install From Script.
In this method I create the database and its objects in scripts that
are run via osql utility on the SQL server machine. For loading any
initial data that I need in the database I also run bcp commands.

Hi there,
I have a database on my test machine that will need to be installed on users
machines. I would like to create the database with the given schema on the
users machine and also with some suitable default values in the tables. I
note that although I can script the schema so that re-creating the structure
of the database is simple on the users machine, I cannot script the contents
of the tables also (automatically). What I would...

I am currently in the process of making changes to an application using
a SQL Server database and have made changes to a development copy of the
live database which includes changing and adding columns to tables and
updating stored procedures.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any free software that could produce
at least a list of the changes between the databases and possibly a
script to allow for easy updating of the live database.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
