How to get path to a database

Does anyone know how to GET (not search the filesystem yourself) the path
to any database, as in, where on the filesystem it lives? Is it a query? Is
it in a debug log?

TIA

We have a field that gets filled into a database that our ASP website pulls from. What we would like to be able to do is to take that path and convert it to a virtual path so the website can display the image. We have setup with our website a virtual directory for: "g:\quotewerks\images\" which is http://www.ourwebsite/images. So, below you can see the data we pull from the field in the database, and what I need it to look like. Can...

Ok, so these are the two pieces of information regarding the location of archived logs during a rollforward recovery in a recoverable database: 1. OVERFLOWLOGPATH configuration parameter can specify a location for DB2 to find log files that are needed for rollforward operations. 2. The database configuration file parameter 'userexit' specifies whether the database manager invokes a user exit program to retrieve log files during...

Hi, I have my front and back end database (they are in development) on a network drive. Everytime I start the database up I get #Error? on DLookup objects and such. This is solved by 'updating' the tables through the Linked Table Manager. The path is S:\databaseBE.mdb. Can I just not set the path to database.BE.mdb? Because when i distribute the database to others users, the back end database is going to be in the same folder as the...

I am using access database to create a crystal report in VB.NET Everything works fine when I run on my machine. But when I am deploying it other windows machines. It is asking for database server name and logon information. The problem which I understood from this is that the path is hardcoded in the crystal report and the database is in my bin folder. when I run my app on other machines it is looking for the database in that folder and...

Hello I currently Link the FE/BE using the LinkTables Option and the Linked Table Manager. Any time I need to move the BE to another location, I have to go through this process over again. I need the flexibility of being able to move the BE data to wherever I want, without manually going through this process. I just want to change the Path/Filename that I keep in a FE Table. I want to be able to place a Path/Filename in a FE Table...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
