Hi there
I am trying to do the following with no luck:
I want to have a form with two select menus. Each menu will obvisouly
have different options, each with its own value. Then quite simply,
when the user clicks on the submit button, I want the resulting URL to
include options from the select fields ( ie: whatever the user has
selected.)
For eg: for a date URL, the final URL might be:

Hello All,
Is it possible to create a <select> element with no selected options? I
have tried setting the selectedIndex attribute to -1, but as far as I can
tell this only works for <select multiple> elements.
Am I missing something obvious?
Sincerely,
TJ Walls

Problem Statement: Mary wants to share a distribution list of
approximately 1000-2000 people with 3 other people.
Sorfar I found three forms of address books that we can use for this.
1. The Outlook contacts. The distribution list can only contain
around 130 people maximum. The requestor does not want to manage many
small separate lists. I have got the error regardless of using outlook

I have a script that is working fine in the latest version of Firefox
with no errors or warnings, but does not work in IE. I have several
select boxes that, when changed, update some text (a price) on the
page. I'm checking what value is selected with an if statement,
setting a variable, then later updating the page. Here's the code that
gives me an "Object doesn't support this property or method" in IE but
works in Firefox:

Hi there,
My application is generating a "The OpenForm action was cancelled"
error and I can't seem to figure out why. The best part about it is
that it's only one user in the entire building - it works perfectly
fine for the rest of us. So troubleshooting is extremely difficult.
Here is the code involved. The command button that opens the form,
the code in the form, and the code in the subform of the form.

My Customers/Sales/Contacts management database interface is modeled
as if Customers are objects, Sales are objects owned by Customer
objects, etc. (I'm running Access 11)
I have Listviews located just about everywhere for the purpose of
finding/acting on these objects.
I want to design a coherent model to handle contextual popup (shortcut
menus) for the different kinds of objects that will be clicked on.
Each object will (naturally)...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
